Recently, Angie wrote to us with this question:
My wedding colors are champagne and black. We’re planning a really upscale affair and I want my bridesmaids (wearing black) to look the part. But I don’t want them to look too formal or fussy. My hope is that my wedding will be fun, too. Can you give me some style suggestions?
Absolutely, Angie! You probably already know that champagne and black weddings are on the hotlist for wedding color combos in 2012 and 2013. That may not be why you chose your wedding colors, of course, but girl, you are definitely one stylish bride! Champagne and black go together beautifully and make for a sophisticated wedding palette that’s particularly suited to evening weddings and candlelight.
Here are some of our picks in a champagne and black wedding inspiration board:
Shown: Damsel from Steve Madden; a crystal bouquet from Etsy seller Noaki; invitations from Momental Designs; our Floral Melody champagne wedding jewelry set; cake by Colorado Rose Cake Company; and a black bridesmaids dress by Dessy
